The Golden Lion (sister pub to The Old Duke) has been running as a music venue now for almost a year and a half, and we are proud to say that we boast some of the finest talent from the Bristol music scene as well as other touring bands from all round the country as well as international touring bands.

We presently have music 7 days a week:

Monday is DJ Skint playing Hip Hop, Funk, Reggae and Soul.

Tuesday is Team Moustache weekly mash-up with DJ Delgado and Mr Biscuits bringing 80’s, electro and indie.

Wednesday brings us Root Elevation live in session featuring resident DJ Type Sun and a 
host of guest artists on rotation - bringing you the best in Hiphop &
Future Soul.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday bring a variety of live acts and performers, check our monthly listings for full details.

Sunday is Reggae night with regular appearances from Bristol’s own legend DJ Derek, DJ Dub Dave and live and DJ performances from the Dub from Atlantis crew.
